Becky's Promo Photos

Becky travels around to different churches and blesses them with her beautiful voice. I was quite honored when she asked me to take her promo pics for her brochure and upcoming demo CD. I had fun exploring downtown Marshall with her! Here are a few of the pics from our shoot.

Who knew a fire escape's shadow could look so cool?

We found a lot of good textured backgrounds around the square.

Doesn't she have the most AMAZING eyes you've ever seen!?

We had to cross a small field to get to the back of this building. If you look closely you'll see a small window with bars near the ground. It was some sort of odd, underground room. It made for some cool pics--but I took them as fast as I could--so we could get out of there.

And I'll throw in a black-and-white photo for good measure. How I do get so lucky that all of my models are stunningly beautiful!?

And I love, love, love this blue brick wall! It went great with her outfit and helped bring even more emphasis to her mesmerizing eyes

We found some really cool artwork of downtown Marshall on the side of building--so we had to use that as a backdrop, naturally.

And I can never resist a cool doorway...

Or a cool window...  ;-)

Thank you so much for the fun photo shoot, Becky! I wish you all the best! =)

Janie & Joseph - 1 year shoot (errr more like 14 months)

And once again, I have the pleasure of posting my lovely cousin's family photos! I still can't get over how quick babies grow during their first year of life. It's amazing.

Here's sweet little Janie!

And Joseph was cracking up at his parents who were standing behind me. So cute!

I usually am not really big on treatments like this, but on the rest of these I HAD to give them a vintage look. It just wouldn't have been right not to...

Um, she wasn't too sure about standing in the bucket. Ha ha.

But then she warmed up to the idea. Isn't she precious!?

And Joseph wasn't too sure about the bucket either...

But the tears didn't last long. All it took was singing "If You're Happy and You Know It" to make him start smiling again. What a good sport!

So long until next time! Love you guys!!!

Senior Portraits 2012

My life has been so busy that I haven't had much time for photography lately. However, I couldn't pass up photographing my cousin's senior portraits! It's hard to believe how quickly time flies. It seems like just yesterday he was the ring bearer in my wedding and now he's all grown up and about to graduate from high school.

Ladies and gentlemen, here is my photogenic cousin.

I couldn't resist taking a photo in front of these great barrels! They make a unique background.

The happy senior and his mammoth truck.  ;-)

The hunter.

And what senior portrait session wouldn't be complete without a few letterman jacket photos?

Looking very dapper in his cap and gown...

Cousins! =)

Congratulations, Casey! We wish you all the best, and we are all very proud of you! xoxo

Janie and Joseph - 7 month shoot

Well, I am finally getting around to posting the twins' 7 month photos that I took 2 months ago. *sigh* I unfortunately have not had much free time lately. Working full-time, helping the kids with school work and then all of the afterschool activities has had me running in circles! Whew! Never a dull moment!  ;-)

So, without any further delay... here are the twins! You won't believe how much they've grown. And they are just as sweet as can be.

Here's Joseph! He just melts your heart.

And here's sweet little Janie.

What a big yawn! And look at those cute little teeth!

SMILE!

Such a sweet little girl.

Cute baby toes! =)

Joseph was fascinated by the grass. Ha ha ha!

And he loves his blankie, as you can see.  ;-)

Beautiful babies!

And I just had to get a photo of them with their proud mama! Thank you for letting me take your pictures. It was so much fun, as always!

Family Group Shoot

I had the pleasure of photographing my husband's sweet aunt and cousins recently. Although it was the end of May it felt just like the middle of August. Gotta love that Texas weather! We made the best of it though. Here are a few of my favorites.

Richard and Natalie, your daughters are absolutely precious! Watch out--they'll be running around before you know it!  ;-)

And here's the whole group! I love the bright, cheery colors they chose to wear.

And I had to get a candid shot, of course.  ;-)

Aunt Susan is blessed with many beautiful granddaughters.

And of course, we had to do a mother/daughter pic, too.  ;-)

Such pretty girls!

Thank you all for letting me take your pictures and for being such troopers in the heat!
