Art Walk - April 6, 2013

I participated in my first Art Walk yesterday! There were many things for everyone to see, hear and do. It was sunny... and windy, but it went really, really well. I sold several paintings and photos, received lovely compliments and met a lot of great folks. It was especially fun hearing other people's interpretations of my paintings. Some figured out what they were right away--others saw them differently. It was great! I definitely see more Art Walks in my future!
And I want to take time to thank my WONDERFUL husband, Matt, for staying by my side during the entire event. And also a big thanks to all of my AMAZING friends and family who stopped by my table to visit and lend their support. You all are the best, and it was great seeing all of you! And last but not least a BIG THANK YOU to Ben and Lisa Rachel Horlander! Without them I would not have known about the Art Walk or had the courage to submit entries to the committee. For those of you who don't know, Lisa has been teaching me the art of painting since November. She is an excellent teacher and is an extremely talented artist. Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. As for me, it's time to get back to work! ;-)

I loved seeing everything. I wouldn't have known about it had you not been there. It was a fun evening and you are amazing. Keep up the good work!
I'm so happy you and Bryan came! And even happier that you both had a fun time!!! I appreciate all of your support and very kind words, Cheryl. Thank you! =)
Holly, it was really great meeting you at the Art Walk! I like abstraction as well, and really love all your small IG images. Looking at all your images on Statigram makes me want to get the camera out and get busy with it again, you have a lot of nice stuff on there! Thanks for dropping by my website, and I hope to see you at the next Art Walk.
Well thank you very much, Lum, and thanks for visiting my site! I plan on participating in the Art Walk in June. See you there!
